MEET CHRIS SHAFFER, VICE PRESIDENT — CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION DIVISION

Chris has been named Vice President of George Hills’ Claims Administration Division bringing 25 years of comprehensive experience serving the claims and risk management needs of customers in TPA and risk management markets. He’s a proven, multi-faceted leader with thorough claims and risk management, information technology and project management experience. Chris’ areas of focus have included innovating new solutions, developing work flow processes to reduce risk, and providing superior solutions and outcomes for clients and colleagues. He brings those strengths and capabilities to his new position.

In his role with George Hills, Chris looks forward to making innovative and meaningful process improvements to an already proven and exceptional company. A curious person by nature, Chris will be a part of the corporate management team forging greater efficiencies in client services, claims operations and technology—all areas that provide significant opportunity to strengthen George Hills’ position in the marketplace. Finally, Chris will be a key member in establishing long-term strategy, plans and policies in alignment with company goals.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Utah. He and his wife Amy have four children and two grandchildren. They reside in Lincoln, California.
